Vietnamese Taxi Driver Has an Epic Run in With a Tornado, Records Everything

The video that was uploaded to YouTube on July 28 shows the storm striking a marketplace in Bắc Ninh province, Vietnam.
As the video begins, the weather is deceivingly calm. The taxi driver is sitting in his car playing smooth Vietnamese rock, completely oblivious to what is coming. The surrounding area starts to change as you see people hurrying away from an unseen force of nature.
The cameraman frantically backs up his car to avoid the tornado as he sees objects flying through the air and buildings being ripped apart. One lucky man on a scooter manages to escape the tornado and run towards his car.
As the tornado passes, the man grabs the scooter he abandoned and rides off. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the storm.
Don’t underestimate the power of mother nature.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
