This is the heartwarming story of a grandmother who spends up to five hours a day studying English so she can communicate with her granddaughter.
In a tweet on March 25, Tracy Vu of Dallas, Texas, shared snaps of her grandmother going through her studies.
âMy grandma spends four to five hours each day learning English so that itâs easier to hold a conversation with me. If this isnât love, then I donât know what is.â
Vu, who is of Vietnamese descent, said that she speaks the language but finds it hard when she does not know certain words or phrases.
Her grandmotherâs notes include words, phrases and sentences in English and Vietnamese.
Vuâs tweet has raked thousands of likes and retweets since it was first published, with many praising her dedication.
We couldnât ask for more from a loving grandmother!

Everything you see today is built on the backs of warriors who have sacrificed opportunities to help give Asians all over the world a bigger voice.
However, we still face many trials and tribulations in our industry, from figuring out the most sustainable business model for independent media companies to facing the current COVID-19 pandemic decimating advertising revenues across the board.
We hope you consider making a contribution so we can continue to provide you with quality content that informs, educates and inspires the Asian community. Even a $1 contribution goes a long way. Thank you for everyone's support. We love you all and can't appreciate you guys enough.
