The Victorville Police Department in Victorville, California has identified an elderly woman who has been receiving care at a local hospital as a “Jane Doe” since Nov. 9.
The woman is returning to the Los Angeles area, where she lives, according to an update by the VVPD.
In a post on Facebook on Tuesday, authorities said the woman was found in the Valley Center Drive and La Paz Drive. She was transported by local emergency personnel at the local hospital and has been receiving care since.
The woman was described as 5 feet (152 centimeters) tall, weighing in at 115 pounds (52 kilograms). She has brown hair and brown eyes and wore a purple shirt, white vest jacket, and black pants.
“When she arrived at the hospital she was wearing a tag on her shirt with the name Annie Kim, however, deputies have been unable to confirm that is her name,” the police department wrote in the post.
“She remains confused and has not been able to provide medical personnel nor deputies with her name, age, or place of residence.”
