Check Out Vertu’s New $10,000 Phone That None Of Us Will Ever Buy

If you thought that Apple’s new $900 iPhone 6s was expensive, then Vertu’s new smartphone, the Signature Touch, is definitely not for you, as it has a starting price of $9,900.
Vertu is a luxury handset company based out of England that is releasing a new smartphone called the New Signature Touch.
It runs on Android 5.1 with 4GB of RAM and has an eight-core Snapdragon 810 chipset. With a 5.2-inch 1080p LCD screen, it is slightly bigger than its predecessor. Its camera has a 21-megapixel resolution, dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording, according to Engadget.
And while all that sounds just peachy, it doesn’t end there. A feature called the “Dedicated Concierge” service is included for an extended 18 months. The service uses a single-point-of-contact system and acts as a personal assistant. Essentially it is the Siri you’ve always wanted but never encountered.
The phone’s starting price is set at 6,500 pounds ($9,900) and can reach up to 13,700 pounds ($20,900) depending on your choice of color and materials.
Each phone is handcrafted, which means that the phones are completely customizable, and can be constructed with protective cases ranging from calf skin to alligator skin.
The phone will be released tomorrow at select boutiques across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia.
