K-Pop super group Twice has recently proven their international appeal by setting a music video view count record on YouTube.
The South Korean group’s music video of their third single “TT” recently surpassed the 100-million viewer mark on Tuesday, only 71 days after it was uploaded, Korea Herald reported. Months after its release, the single is impressively still trending worldwide.
With the feat of attracting more than 100 million YouTube viewers in a short period of time, the nine-member girl group has made an impressive milestone.
The group shared the news with their fans through their official social media accounts.
“TT”, which was released on Oct. 24, is not the only hit the group has made so far. In fact, all of the three lead tracks from the album “Twicecoaster: Lane 1” have surpassed 100 million views.
“Like OOH-AHH”, the group’s debut single has so far accumulated over 113 million views, while “Cheer up”, their equally successful follow-up has over 117 million watches.
Psy’s “Gentleman”, however, remains as the top K-Pop music video to reach the milestone number of views in the shortest period of time, reaching over 100 million views in less than four days. The video has so far been viewed more than 1 billion times.
