TWICE have been titans in the K-pop scene since their debut in 2015, but this past year has seen the JYP Entertainment act reach new milestones.
They were the most-streamed female K-pop group on Spotify (U.S.) in 2022 with nearly 300 million streams and over 5.5 billion streams to date. They were also nominated for three notable music awards, including an MTV Video Music Award for Best K-Pop, an American Music Award for Favorite K-Pop Artist, and an MTV Europe Music Award for Best K-Pop.
TWICE also sold out the seven U.S. cities in their “4TH WORLD TOUR III” and became the first K-pop girl group to sell out two North American arena shows.
They extended their tour with a special encore return, this time at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, making them the first K-pop girl group to play a North American stadium.
TWICE’s eleventh EP, “BETWEEN 1&2,” placed on the Billboard 200 Album Chart at No. 3. Earlier this month, the nine-piece dropped their pre-release English single, “Moonlight Sunrise.”
Tickets for the awards will be available to the public on Feb. 3 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. American Express card members can access presale tickets on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. Ticket prices range from $85 to $275.
