The 80-episode show, which features an all-Filipino cast, is based on the popular Japanese anime series “Voltes V.” The series, which ran from 1977 to 1978, was produced by Toei Company and Sunrise.
‘Voltes V: Legacy” was directed by Mark A. Reyes and written by Suzette Doctolero. The show stars Miguel Tanfelix as team leader Steve Armstrong, Matt Lozano as Robert “Big Bert” Armstrong and Raphael Landicho as “Little Jon” Armstrong. It also stars Radson Flores as Mark Gordon and Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson.
“Voltes V: Legacy” is set to premiere sometime later this year on GMA.
