A TikTok video showcasing Asian household appliances has gone viral on Twitter.
User @shongani_ took to his Twitter account to share the video from TikTok user @vivifuture.home on Sunday. While the original video has since been deleted on TikTok, it has garnered over 4.7 million views and nearly 200,000 likes on Twitter, as of this writing.
“Asians have different appliances than the rest of the world. We need to copy these things, they are so useful 😹 🤞🏾,” @shongani_ captioned his tweet.
Viewers were left satisfied and mesmerized by the kitchen appliances being demonstrated by a woman in the video. The TikTok features a six-grid rotating rice and grain dispenser, a multi-tier food steamer, a trash can attached to a cabinet door with a removable scraper, a fruit and vegetable purifier, an electric egg roll maker and a four-egg-ring frying pan.
Many users expressed their need for the same appliances in their household, with one user writing, “Asian appliances are a real ‘don’t stress me’, I want them all 😩.”
The video also featured appliances used outside of the kitchen, including a mini collapsible and portable washing machine, an electric shoe dryer, a portable mini iron and steamer, a toothbrush holder and toothpaste dispenser mounted to the bathroom wall and a mini home theater projector.
“Once you convert, you will never be able to revert back to what we have. I just love Asian appliances,” another user replied while sharing a similar TikTok video.
