One picture sums up how gullible people can be. Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet kids! Last week, Facebook user Stephen Roseman, decided to post a picture of a dog on his account.

This poor dog was badly burned and disfigured trying to save his family from a house fire
One like = one prayer
One share = ten prayers

Not quite sure how those shares equate to prayers, but since last week his post has been shared over 100,000 times. Many on Facebook are posting sympathetic comments for the dog and sending him well wishes.
However, a closer examination of the picture will show that the dog isn’t badly burned or injured at all. In fact, the photo is of a canine with a piece of deli ham on his face. The “hamdog”, as the pup is now being referred to, is still garnering much attention, likes and shares on Facebook.
Whether people are in on the joke or not is difficult to discern. While some users are angered by the whole thing, others are getting a laugh out of it.
Hamdog certainly appreciates the prayers and hopefully will be able to eat the ham off his face some time soon.
