You’ve heard it over and over again: not getting enough sleep is bad for you. Very, very bad.
How bad, exactly? Cerebral shrinkage and brain damage bad.
That’s according to the informative infographic below from Mic and General Electric. If you still needed any more reason — and you shouldn’t — to make sure you’re getting 7-8 hours of a sleep a night, read about the consequences (on a colorful drawing, though!) of sleep deprivation below.

If you’re having trouble falling asleep at night, try the 4-7-8 breathing method here to fall asleep more quickly. You could also try to not fall asleep.
And to even better promote rest and relaxation, remember to put away your electronic devices before bedtime.
