A hotel in Taiwan is offering gamers a chance to experience what it’s like to be in an eSports tournament thanks to its theme centered around competitive gaming.
Referred to as i hotel — located in Taoyuan, Taiwan — the lodging offers quite the luxurious feel of a five-star hotel with a dash of eSports. Based on its Facebook page, most of its rooms will come equipped with two desktop units complete with gaming chairs.
What better way to celebrate your honeymoon with your significant other than to fire a couple rounds of ammo at each other in “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.”
But of course, i hotel is also perfect for single gamers who just want to take a vacation away from home. Sit back and relax while you play your favorite video games, perhaps a couple of “Dota 2” matches or better yet, “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds”.
However, the main attraction of the hotel is not the rooms and the sexy-looking computers inside them — it’s the eSports stage. It’s complete with two rows of computers — ideal for tournaments — and a huge screen for the backdrop.
Suffice it to say, the specs of these computers are pretty stellar — especially the graphics card. As seen in the walkthrough of the hotel by YouTuber Joeman, the desktop units in the eSports stage are all equipped with an i5-7400 processor, 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1080 Ti GPU.
Those who are in the area can check in to i hotel at their address at No. 56, Zhongzheng Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan or at the hotel website.
Asia appears to be the perfect place to hold a gamer-themed wedding, especially with the arcade ceremony in Japan, and now this perfect honeymoon venue at i hotel.
