The Most ‘Bob Ross Looking’ Dog Has Passed Away in Japan

The heartbreaking news was shared by Kokoro’s owner on Instagram on Dec. 19 and also made its way on the Hong Kong-based website 9GAG.

“It’s a sudden report, but in fact Kokoro has left for heaven,” the poodle’s owner wrote on Instagram. “It was painful and lonely and I couldn’t write easily. I wanted to be with you a lot more. I am deeply grateful to all the people who have supported Kokoro for a long time.”

The owner also said they hope to continue posting pictures and videos of Kokoro on his Instagram account.

The owner did not go into much detail about how Kokoro passed away.

Kokoro went viral in August after many social media users shared pictures of the dog and likened him to an Ewok from “Star Wars” and Bob Ross due to his fluffy hair.

Rest in peace, little buddy.
