Target Australia Just Showed the World How You’re Supposed to Market Lingerie

A fashion store chain from the land down under is teaching the world a thing or two about body diversity.
Target Australia recently cast three plus-sized models to be part of their Valentine’s Day gift guide, which continues a trend the store started last year. Mic reports that in December, the store did a swimsuit photo spread that featured a diversified lineup of models.
With the taglines “For any body and every body” or “Yay for every body,” the company’s website regularly features a variety of models with different body sizes. This new catalog, in particular, has earned praises for its inclusivity, which is still considered a rarity in the fashion industry.
Showcasing their work on Instagram, Aussie models Margaret Macpherson and Jazz Bell posted some of their shots with hashtags that proudly point out their curviness: #workingcurves, #breakingboundaries, #lovetheskinyourein and #curvesout.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
