One Taiwanese woman’s traumatic sexual experience may have men questioning whether or not they are actually healthy enough to have sex.
The woman, identified as a 20-year-old named Fu, woke up at approximately 5 a.m. along with her 22-year old boyfriend named Huang for some early morning sex in Keelung City, Taiwan.
Unfortunately, halfway through their intimate session, Huang, who was on top, suddenly collapsed on Fu and remained motionless and unresponsive.
After her unsuccessful attempts and waking Hunag up, the terrified Fu called for an ambulance. She described what happened (via Daily Mail):
“Halfway through our lovemaking, he began to sweat and had difficulty breathing. He lost consciousness right there, and fell down on the bed with a loud thud. I called his name and touched him, but there was no reaction.”
Huang was reportedly a student who had just recovered from a minor cold. Fu also described him as being a little overweight, but basically healthy. He was rushed to Keelung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital but could not be revived. Senior doctor Shih Chi-chung explained:
“When he arrived he had already stopped breathing and had no pulse. He was unconscious and his eyes rolled white.”
Huang’s heartbroken parents couldn’t believe their son’s fate and asked the police to investigate. “How can he die like this? We want to know what happened,” they said.
Authorities suspect that Huang may have died from either a heart attack or stroke and that perhaps his recent cold played a factor. Doctors also speculated that cold temperature played a part. The city of Keelung was having unusually low temperatures for the area, hovering around 11 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit).
Emergency room head Dr. Shih advised people not to have sex in cold temperatures and to warm up with exercises beforehand.
