A 40-year-old woman working at an environmental monitoring station in Shaoyang, southern China’s Hunan Province, died after being shot by her coworkers who were playing around with an air gun in their office last Friday.
The deceased woman, whose name has been withheld, was shot in the neck, according to The Paper as translated by Shanghaiist. Her two coworkers who accidentally shot her as well as the owner of the gun have been detained by the authorities.
