A South Korean YouTuber bearing an uncanny resemblance to Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon has found a surge in views on her most recent video posted last week.
Hye Rang, who joined the platform in May 2018, produces ASMR (autonomic sensory meridian response) videos to “share warmth through sound.”

She posted her very first video in August: a 20-minute playtime with clay that felt like slime.
So far, she has 36 ASMR videos with various “triggers” such as whispering, eating, tapping, cupping and drawing sounds, to name a few.

Her latest video, posted on Feb. 28, is a “relaxing skincare” roleplay that gives viewers the feel of an actual treatment.
Interestingly, the video has the most views on her channel yet, raking more than 27,000 as of this writing. The rest have less than 6,000 views.

This was perhaps fueled by viewers noticing her striking resemblance to Taeyeon.
