New York City police are looking for a man accused of shoving an Asian woman while calling her a “stupid Asian b*tch” near Manhattan’s Herald Square.
The incident reportedly occurred near 6th Ave. and W. 33rd St. at around 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2022.
The suspect approached the victim from behind and shoved her to the ground “without any prior conversation or provocation,” police said. He then escaped in an unknown direction.
“Stupid Asian b*tch,” the man allegedly said during the attack. “Do you want another one?”
The victim, 56, sustained a minor injury to her arm, according to reports. She refused medical attention.
Police released surveillance images of the suspect on Tuesday. They described him as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 155 pounds.
The suspect was also described as having a light complexion, a large build, short dark hair and a full beard. He was wearing a red hoodie with white lettering on the back, camouflage sweatpants and black sneakers.
