Police in Michigan have taken a 60-year-old male resident of Pontiac into custody in connection with the death of 33-year-old professional poker player Susie Zhao.
The man, whose name was not revealed, was located and arrested near I-275 and Michigan Avenue at around 9 a.m. on July 31, White Lake Township Police Detective Lt. Christopher Hild said, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The man’s car was named in the search warrant when detectives and the FBI task force started investigating the case, Click on Detroit reported.
Zhao’s badly burned remains were found at a parking lot near the Pontiac Lake Recreation Area at around 8 a.m. on July 13. She was last seen by her mother on July 12 at 5:30 p.m., the White Lake Township Police Department said.
