An elderly couple received a surprise visit from their daughter and her family before the Chinese New Year.

The heart-melting moment, which was posted on the Chinese video platform Pear Video, begins with the child knocking on his grandparents’ door while the mother, Song, records the surprise.

Song, her husband, and their son drove 2,800 kilometers (1,740 miles) from their home in the city of Ningbo in Zhejiang province to Jiamisu in Heilongjiang province, where the woman’s mother lives, according to Shanghaiist.
