A woman has been arrested in South Korea after allegedly breaking into a dressing room and threatening musical actors, including Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, with a knife, according to reports.
What happened: The incident occurred in a dressing room at a musical theater in Magok-dong, western Seoul, at around 6 p.m. on Sunday. The woman, believed to be in her 30s, broke into the room and threatened the actors with a knife, according to the Seoul Gangseo Police Station.
Kyuhyun, 35, was present in the room and attempted to restrain the suspect and sustained an abrasion on his finger. The Super Junior singer, whose real name is Cho Kyu-Hyun, received treatment at the scene.
About the suspect: The suspect was among the audience at the theater for a “Ben-Hur” musical. Police said she had no prior acquaintance with the actors and that Kyuhyun was not her target.
What’s next: Police are looking into the suspect’s psychiatric history and investigating the route of her weapon. She is facing a charge of special intimidation.
