Studio Ghibli, the legendary production team behind some of the most memorable anime in all of cinematic history, is on the hunt for a new digital artist.
The renowned animation film studio in Japan is known for such masterpieces such as “Spirited Away,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” and “My Neighbor Totoro,” among many others.
 
Aside from having the talents and skills as a 2D animator, applicants are required to be over 20 years old.
The potential artist must also be able to relocate to Japan in October 2019, which will be the start date of the contract. Another prerequisite for the job is the ability to communicate in Japanese.
The successful candidate will be stationed at the company’s HQ in Japan to work on a special project with the rest of the Studio Ghibli team.
The project in question requires the new hire to be assigned there for at least a year and a half.
According to Creative Bloq, the company has set a monthly salary outline of roughly 250,000 yen ($2,250).
