Hormel Foods, the American company behind the popular canned meat Spam, just announced its new limited-edition flavor for the coming autumn season in late September.
The limited-edition Spam Pumpkin Spice 2-packs are set to hit the company’s online store and Walmart shelves on September 23, according to the company’s announcement.
The Spam Pumpkin Spice will not contain pumpkin inside the can. Instead, it will be made with spices such as cinnamon, clove, allspice, and nutmeg, a spokesperson told CNN.
While those who like to collect limited edition items may find this exciting, several fans of the canned meat maker are clearly not on board with this new creation. Here’s what some of them have to say on Twitter:
