Most details about the group’s members are still being kept under wraps; however, reports on Friday claimed former Iz*One members Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chaewon had been signed to the group. The chairman of Hybe Corporation, Bang Sihyuk, also teased K-pop fans with a picture of him and the two idols accompanied by the caption “Welcome!”
The group will reportedly consist of six members, including Miyawaki and Kim. One trainee from Pledis Entertainment and two from Source Music are also expected to join the group, with the last member from the Netherlands having been personally picked by the head of the label.
Another name mentioned that could be part of the new group is reality competition show “Produce 48” contestant Heo Yun-jin. It was speculated that Heo could be the trainee referred to in other reports, considering that she was once part of Pledis Entertainment as a trainee.
