A female jumper’s life was saved from certain death after a quick-thinking firefighter gave her a thunderous kick in the stomach.
The heroic scene was caught on a video which immediately went viral on South Korean social media after it was first uploaded on April 21, according to AllKpop.
In the footage, a young woman was first seen sitting on an edge of a porch railing in an unnamed high-rise apartment in South Korea, readying herself to jump.

Like a ninja, a firefighter made a silent but precise move, approaching her from the upper floor above her. In a blink of an eye, the hero saves her life just in time with a powerful kick in the stomach. The woman was caught off-guard and was immediately thrown towards a safer spot.
South Korean netizens have been praising the firefighter’s awesome life-saving move.
“She flew back so fast. But that’s good. I applaud the guy that had to do what he had to do,” one netizen commented.
“I wonder…if others were thrown into his situation, what would they do,” another commenter wondered. “Would they just be a bystander or actually think of something as quick as this man did. He SAVED her life. That was his top priority at that moment. I know for a fact that if I was in his situation, I would not know what to do. I applaud him for his quick action. It may not have been the best solution, but it may have been HIS best solution at that time. Considering the fact that others were trying to distract her as he did that, I am sure they agreed upon it.”
It was not revealed if the woman sustained any injury from the apparently powerful blow. Hopefully, it all turned out well for the troubled woman after her rescue.
