Singaporean Shoppers Go Insane at 6 in the Morning Over Limited-Edition Yeezys

Die-hard fans may often do anything to get their favorite apparel or sneakers, including going into a frenzy at six in the morning for limited-edition Yeezy sneakers.

The rather chaotic sale event was brought to the public’s attention online on the Singapore subreddit by user u/LeWilmon. According to the user, this happened on Saturday, June 22, when sneaker boutique shop AW LAB in Wisma Atria mall on Orchard Road announced the limited-edition YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 SYNTH, Mashable reported.

Videos from when the mall opened its doors shows the chaos of fans trying to squeeze their bodies inside the tiny gaps as the metal grilles were slowly being opened.

A longer version of the video, however, shows the fans running inside and lining up in front of the store before it opens.

As several users have noted in the Reddit post, the chaos somewhat resembled a scene straight out of a zombie apocalypse movie.
