Co-showrunner Matt Selman shared with Deadline in August that Liu will be voicing an adult Hubert Wong, one of Lisa’s love interests and her “perfect future boyfriend.”
In previous episodes, Hubert is Lisa’s Springfield Elementary School classmate. When he’s chosen over Lisa for a reading roundup, Lisa accuses Hubert of cheating.
Liu will star in an episode titled “When Nelson Met Lisa,” referring to Nelson Muntz, Springfield Elementary School’s main bully.
With Lisa’s and Nelson’s dating history, the future of Hubert’s love life seems to be up in the air. Echoing these concerns, Liu responded on his Instagram, “Uh oh episode title not looking good.”

Fans can look forward to Liu’s episode on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
