In a bid to accumulate a million followers on the Chinese social media site Weibo, British comedian/filmmaker Simon Pegg says he is willing to go all out. In a recent post on the popular site, he promised to post a nude pic once his followers hit the 1 million mark.

Now nearing 850,000 followers, the target isn’t really too far off, and most of his fans are eagerly anticipating the milestone, according to Shanghaiist.

“I hope u r a man of ur words. 1M followers on weibo is so easy. Can’t wait to see ur naki-d Body,” said one fan.

Some are also skeptical he would fulfill his promise the way many are expecting him to.

“Naked what? a raw picture of yours? or a part of your body, or a whole naked body? or a naked baby Simon? no tricks!” another fan commented.

Whether he owns up to his promise or not, remains to be seen. After all, it’s just a matter of days until he gets the inevitable million. However, it should be noted that he has marked each Weibo milestone in the past by posting celebratory photos.

Last month, on September 21st, when he reached 100,000 followers, and he posted a photo of him hugging Chewbacca:

A few weeks later on October 12th, he posted another Chewbacca pic after reaching over 500,000 fans,:

Pegg has gained quite a fanbase in China after starring in the mega-blockbuster “Star Trek Beyond,” which he also co-wrote.
