She’s Blind and Lives in a Small Filipino Village, But Her Singing Will Give You Goosebumps

We bet you are going to fall in love with this young blind lady from the Philippines after hearing her amazing singing voice.

Identified only by her first name Elsie, the amateur singer who has been making the rounds on social media recently is reportedly from a small unnamed fishing village in the Philippines.

Facebook user Darrell Burnett was so enthralled with the woman’s vocal prowess that he posted several videos of her impromptu performances online. According to one of his posts, the gifted singer does not speak English as she never went to school but she is able to sing English songs well by listening and studying them.

In a video where Elsie delivered a powerful rendition of a Whitney Houston classic “I Will Always Love You,” Burnett wrote:

“This is Elsie she is totally blind. She has never been to school, never learned English. She listens to songs and learns the song. She has one of the most Amazing voices I have ever heard. She lives in a small fishing village in the Philippines.”

The video, posted on August 23, was a viral hit, gaining over three million views, over 84,000 shares and 43,000 reactions in just a week.

Netizens have since showered Elsie some well-deserved praise for her natural talent.
