South Korean singer-songwriter Shaun released his newest EP “Omnibus pt.1: Kaleidoscope” today, accompanied by the music video for the title track “Road.”
Shaun, born Kim Yun-ho, gave fans a sneak peek of “Road” during South Korea’s Waterbomb Festival this month, but his latest EP includes two additional tracks: “Answer” and “Don’t Let Me Know.”
According to a press release from Warner Music Korea, the new project “contains three singles in different stories and genres in Shaun’s point of view. The title single ‘Road’ presents a sentimental melody that transitions into a catchy future bass drop, afrobeat based tune ‘Don’t Let Me Know’ and a dance based track ‘Answer’ presents a strong pop sound.”
Demonstrating his abilities as a singer-songwriter, Shaun composed and arranged all the tracks of the EP and is credited as a lyricist for “Answer” and “Road.” This is Shaun’s most recent project since his collaboration with Malaysian singer Yuna on the single “So Right” in February and his single “#0055b7,” which was released in 2021.
Known for his 2018 viral hit “Way Back Home,” the Warner Music Korea artist appears to have more music in the works, as hinted by the “pt.1” of the new EP’s title.
