Ronda Rousey Says She Makes More Money Per Second Than Floyd Mayweather

UFC champ Ronda Rousey and boxing champ Floyd Mayweather are back at it again in their neverending battle of words.
In response to Mayweather’s recent diss at Rousey to call him when she makes $300 million in 36 minutes, Rousey told him to recheck his math.
The two have been at it since Rousey took offense to Mayweather’s comment last year in which he claimed he did not know who she was. After beating Mayweather in the Fighter of the Year category at the ESPYs in July of this year, she fired back at Mayweather by asking him how it felt being beaten by a woman for once — Mayweather served a nearly three-month jail sentence in 2012 for domestic abuse. Mayweather brushed off the remark during an interview on ESPN’s “SportsCenter,” flashing the “I make more money than you” card at Rousey.
Yesterday, the Fighter of the Year recipient responded to Mayweather’s comment to TMZ Sports while walking her dog in Los Angeles. Rousey had apparently broken down the numbers and claimed to make more money per second than Mayweather. She added that Mayweather should text her “when he learns how to read and write,” a reference to the popular claim last year that Mayweather is illiterate.
She said:
“[Floyd] said, ‘You make $300 million a night, then you can give me a call. I actually did the math, and given the numbers of my last fight, I’m actually the highest-paid UFC fighter, and I’m a woman. I think I actually make two to three times more than he does per second, and so when he learns to read and write, he can text me then.”
