//

Guy makes epic commercial to sell old car!My buddy Rob’s been trying to sell his car for over a year now, so we made this kinda over-the-top car commercial to see if we can get a few offers on the table! Tag your friend’s that are in the market for a new car… or just need a good laugh 🙂

Canadian Rob Comeau, 25, has been trying to sell his 2010 Nissan Altima online for over a year without any luck. Luckily, Comeau is a filmmaker, so he put his skills to work and created an epic commercial to market his car.
Comeau had put his Altima for sale on websites like Craigslist and Kijiji but never received any offers. He partnered up with friend Chris Hau, a Toronto-based producer, and the two went to work to create a hilarious ad that features all the stereotypical shots of any car commercial.
Comeau and Hau even hired a professional voice actor to dramatically describe the many (mediocre) features his car offers.
The car, which has around 54,000 miles on it, is up for sale for $12,499 (or best offer). Since putting out the commercial, it has been viewed over 140,000 times on Facebook and Comeau reports that he has, finally, received some serious offers.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
