The much-anticipated Apple Watch has finally been unveiled, and it’s not going to be cheap.
During a press conference on Monday, Apple revealed how much customers would be shelling out for each model.
The Apple Watch Sport will be $349 for the 38mm size and $399 for the 42mm. TechnoBuffalo noted that these prices are more than any Android Wear device on the market, regardless of size.
The next tier up is the Apple Watch Steel, which is going to be $549 to $1,049 for the 38mm, and $599 to $1,099 for the 42mm. The price is dependent on the type of band you want.
Lastly, the Apple Watch Edition aka “the gold model” is going to start at a whopping $10,000. The watch is made with 18-karat solid yellow or rose gold and will only be sold through special retailers.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said:
“It’s the most beautiful expression of the Apple Watch.”
For anyone who wants to get their hands on one of these devices, pre-orders start on April 10.
