Red Velvet group member Joy stars in a new trailer for the Netflix K-drama “Once Upon a Small Town.”
The drama is based on the novel of the same name by author Park Ha-min. In the show, a veterinarian from Seoul named Han Ji-yool (Choo Young-woo) meets a police officer named Ahn Ja-young (Joy) who lives in the countryside of Heedong Village.
In the show, Ahn Ja-young grew up in Heedong Village and is well-liked by everyone there. She is social and friendly and always ready to help settle any disputes. Meanwhile, Han Ji-yool is a prickly man who does not have much empathy for others and is strict about following rules. He gives up his job in the city to support his grandfather and finds life in Heedong Village to be difficult and annoying – that is, until he meets Ahn Ja Young.
