French couple Anastasia Reskoss and Quentin Dehar have spent more than 200,000 pounds ($308,456) on over 15 cosmetic procedures to look like real-life versions of the Barbie and Ken dolls.
Reskoss, 20, and Dehar, 23, spend most of their time vacationing around the world while constantly undergoing procedures to match their looks to the dolls they idolize.
Both Reskoss, who grew up in St. Petersberg, Russia, before moving to Paris as a university student, and Dehar, who is from Marseille, France, come from wealthy families who help fund their cosmetic obsession to look like dolls.
The couple plans to legally change their name to “Ken” and “Doll.” “Our parents don’t call us Anastasia and Quentin anymore — they call us Barbie and Ken,” Dehar told the Daily Mail.
Reskoss and Dehar became a couple in 2013 after meeting at a boat party in Saint Tropez and realizing they were both obsessed with looking like dolls.
Quentin elaborated: “I was on the dance floor and suddenly, I saw Anastasia. She was only 18 at the time but she was so beautiful. Anastasia looked back at me and we couldn’t stop staring at each other. I loved what she was doing with her look, she had her classy aura about her.”
