Japanese Netizen Stuns Twitter By Turning a Pringles Can into an Actual Character
By Bryan Ke
Japanese Twitter user @02ESyRaez4VhR2l stunned followers with their paper craft skills by bringing Julius Pringles, the male cartoon character on every Pringles chips can, to life.
The Japanese artist turned a pretty ordinary empty tube of sour cream and onion Pringles into a work of art using meticulous cutting and folding, according to SoraNews24.
While the cartoon logo has only his face visible when plastered on every Pringles can, the artist managed to pull off to create Mr. Pringles with a full on green suit and killer shoes that go with his slick looks.
A lot of Japanese netizens are impressed by @02ESyRaez4VhR2l’s artistic talent in turning random product cardboard leftover into something stunning and beautiful. Here’s what some of them wrote on Twitter:
“It’s amazing how you created those wrinkles on the suit using that hard can.”
“‘Thank you for returning me to my original self,’ said Mr. Pringles.”
“I think the company would be ecstatic if you sent this to them.”
“He sure looks like a model with such long legs and a slim body.”
“‘Shall I turn you into a pile of chips?’ taunted Mr. Pringles.’”
