Adorable Chinese Preschooler Can’t Stay Awake on Stage During School Performance

A 3-year-old preschool girl became an instant online star after a video of her falling asleep at least twice on stage during a school performance went viral on Chinese social media.
The performance took place at a school in the city of Hulunbuir in Inner Mongolia earlier this month, according to Shanghaiist.
The audience suddenly noticed that one of the students remained lying on the stage floor as the group, dressed in bright colorful outfits, danced to the cute tune.
The crowd in the venue burst into laughter when they realized that she fell asleep. Then, the organizers stopped the music and two adult staff members rushed to the stage to wake up the little sleeping beauty.
The performance started again from the top as everyone returned to their positions.
But the adorable little girl dozed off once again. The second time, however, appeared to be more comedic than the first as the staff who previously helped the girl approached her without rushing in.
As it turns out, she has a very good reason for falling asleep on stage during the performance. The children reportedly had to wake up at 6 a.m. to rehearse their dance number for the show.
