Japan is Releasing an Official Pokédex iPhone Case in 2020
Premium Bandai has announced the creation of the official Pokédex smartphone case which is set to be released in Japan sometime in March 2020.
The smartphone case is designed to look and feel like the actual Pokédex that Ash Ketchum uses in the long-running anime series “Pokemon,” according to NintendoSoup.
While the case is marketed for iPhone users, it apparently cannot accommodate all models of the Apple smartphone. It can fit the iPhone X as well as older models, such as the iPhone 8, 7 and 6. However, it is not compatible with the latest iPhone 11.
It is also important to keep in mind that the Pokédex Case will hide the iPhone’s microphone and flashlight on the older models.
It is still unclear when the international release date will be set, but pre-orders are now available through NintendoSoup’s store.
However, people in Japan can expect the case to officially roll out in March 2020.
Many people might not know this, but despite our large and loyal following which we are immensely grateful for, NextShark is still a small bootstrapped startup that runs on no outside funding or loans.
Everything you see today is built on the backs of warriors who have sacrificed opportunities to help give Asians all over the world a bigger voice.
However, we still face many trials and tribulations in our industry, from figuring out the most sustainable business model for independent media companies to facing the current COVID-19 pandemic decimating advertising revenues across the board.
We hope you consider making a contribution so we can continue to provide you with quality content that informs, educates and inspires the Asian community.
Even a $1 contribution goes a long way. Thank you for everyone’s support. We love you all and can’t appreciate you guys enough.
