Japanese pop sensation Piko Taro had an ecstatic meeting with Donald Trump as both were seen alongside each other while wearing their biggest grin at the U.S. President’s dinner party.
The “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen” singer posted pictures on social media of his thrilling encounter with the U.S. president as well as with various personalities in Japanese politics.
Taro flooded his posts with numerous tears-of-joy and crying emojis as he expressed how honored he was to be in attendance at the official dinner party, according to SoraNews24. The 44-year-old singer even brought his humor along saying comments like “Piko Taro is completely exhausted!” and “Bigwigs all over the place.”
Japan previously planned for the PPAP singer to have a meet-and-greet with Trump to give the U.S. President a memorable time in the country. Now that the two were able to meet, it seems that Taro wasn’t the only one who enjoyed the encounter since Trump himself was all smiles.
Taro was also able to spread his infectious smile to the rest of those in attendance including Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga and Minister of Finance Taro Aso. “I have had a very valuable experience in my life today. Also, I just make fun music. And I want to deliver a small smile to everyone,” Piko Taro said in a Tweet.
The rest of the guests couldn’t help but wear their biggest smiles while posing and taking selfies with Taro. Fortunately, Taro was able to capture the joyous moments and even posted loads of pictures on Twitter featuring various guests posing with him and his signature leopard-printed apparel.
Japan certainly gave president Trump quite a memorable experience and the same can be said for the PPAP singer as well. Trump’s granddaughter, Arabella, would undoubtedly want to hear about the U.S. President’s pleasant encounter given that she’s a fan of the viral PPAP song herself.
