Filipina Miss Universe Wishes Everyone a Happy New Year From Hawaii

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach capped 2016 with a romantic Hawaii getaway with current beau Filipino-Swiss race car champion Marlon Stockinger.

Sharing their moments together on Instagram, the Filipino beauty queen posted images of her and Stockinger on a beach in Waimanalo, Hawaii on Jan. 1, Sunday (Manila time) to welcome the new year.

In one of the photos, the gorgeous 27-year-old is seen lying in the arms of Stockinger.

The caption read: “My kind of NYE. @marlonstockinger #hawaii”

Stockinger also shared a photo of outgoing Miss Universe with the caption: “Beachbumin on the last day of the year.”

Late November, the couple were also seen dining in Singapore.

The couple’s relationship was earlier confirmed by Stockinger when he admitted in October last year that he was dating Wurtzbach, although he said he prefers to keep their relationship on a low profile.

Wurtzbach also recently greeted her followers via a video message on the Official Miss Universe Instagram account.

“Hi, guys! Happy New Year! I’m in here in Hawaii right now enjoying the sun while some of you might be in the winter. Well, Happy New Year!” she said.

Wurtzbach is scheduled to be back in Manila this month for the crowning of the next Miss Universe in the highly anticipated 65th Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in the Philippines on January 29.
