Photographer Captures Japan’s Incredible Beauty During the Winter

A local photographer has succeeded in capturing Japan’s best looks in the bitter cold.

Instagram user @nagaoshi, a 22-year-old living in Ishikawa prefecture, shared breathtaking shots to thousands of followers on social media.

The photographer’s aesthetic plays from whimsical movements in naturally-muted colors to calming scenery in romantic glow.

While taken in ice, @nagaoshi’s photos easily evoke warm emotions.

For one, this picture of a person walking alone in what could have been a busy street brings us good feelings in solitude:
