ONE Championship and the Bruce Lee Foundation (BLF) have joined forces to honor Bruce Lee’s legacy while promoting Asian American and Pacific Islander Month and Mental Health Awareness Month.
The collaboration, which marks the 50th anniversary of Bruce Lee‘s passing this year, includes a $10,000 donation from ONE Championship to the BLF’s summer camp for underprivileged youth, which supports their development through an integrated Mind, Body and Spirit approach to mental wellness.
With the donation, ONE Championship aims to provide opportunities for underprivileged youth to explore their potential and find purpose through the legacy of Bruce Lee.
A portion of the proceeds from ONE x Bruce Lee merchandise sold at the event will also be donated to the summer camp. This initiative demonstrates ONE Championship’s commitment to empowering communities and promoting positive change.
Bruce Lee’s daughter and President of the Bruce Lee Foundation, Shannon Lee, is set to take part in the festivities at the highly anticipated “ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III” on May 5 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
The event, which will be broadcast live exclusively on Prime Video, will also feature a special archived Bruce Lee martial arts item and showcase content pieces co-branded by ONE and the BLF featuring Lee’s archival footage and the stars of ONE Fight Night 10.
“ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III” marks ONE Championship’s first event in the U.S. and is headlined by three World Title fights, including a match between reigning flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and former divisional king Adriano Moraes in the main event.
The now-sold-out event also features bouts with Thailand’s Stamp Fairtex and Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Burma’s Aung La Nsang and Filipino American kickboxer Jackie Buntan.
