One Bank Has a Hilarious Way to Announce NBA All-Star Weekend

This picture of a woman standing by an ATM machine may look like something out of “Alice in Wonderland,” but it’s actually a joke in real life pulled off by the the Bank of Montreal. The bankers thought it would be funny to build an ATM machine for basketball players for the NBA All-Star weekend in Canada with a message on the machine that reads: “The NBA All-Stars Are Coming.”
Instead of having to crouch down to use the average machines that everyday folks use, basketball players can now deposit and withdraw their money at a comfortable height.
Rumors have it that the ATM, located in First Canadian Place, 100 King St. W., Toronto, probably doesn’t work. However, no one tall enough has been able to prove it … yet.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
