While BTS might already have a long list of awards and record-breaking titles to bond each of the seven members for life, V announced they’re solidifying their friendship with some ink.
BTS’ Kim Taehyung, known by his stage name V, revealed the group’s plans for friendship tattoos on Weverse, an online community created for fans.
While the pop star was responding to the community’s questions about whether he wanted any tattoos for himself, a user tried to talk him out of it. V quickly shut them down, saying, “I’ll make that decision for myself,” before speaking on the group’s plans.
“For now, the members and I talk about getting friendship tattoos every day,” he said. “Friendship tattoos will happen one day, please look forward to it.”

V later followed up to say the tattoo will be located “somewhere you can’t see it, on my right butt cheek.” He also revealed that the idea for the tattoos came from Suga.

Two of the members already have tattoos, with Jimin’s scattered across his arms and torso and Jungkook rocking a full sleeve.
V drew attention earlier this week during BTS’ performance at the Grammys, which started with a scandalous shot of him whispering in award winner Olivia Rodrigo’s ear. The group was praised for their performance at the awards despite losing in the category for which they were nominated, sparking an uproar among ARMYs.

The group is set to perform in Las Vegas tomorrow as part of their “Permission to Dance On Stage” world tour.
