The highly anticipated Nintendo Switch game of the new year “Pokémon Legends: Arceus” dropped its latest trailer in English.
The trailer, which was uploaded on Jan. 10, reveals a new adventure across the “sprawling landscapes” of the fictional Hisui region, the ancient name for Sinnoh, where Pokémons “roam free, unbound by human connection.”
“Pokémon Legends: Arceus” also features new Pokémon players can ride or be carried by while engaging in real-time Pokémon catching. The trailer emphasizes that in addition to engaging in “fierce battles,” collecting and crafting will also be “pivotal to success” within the game.
According to CNET, Switch players will join the Galaxy Expedition Team to capture and study creatures to document the Hisui region’s first Pokedex.
“Get ready for a new kind of grand, Pokémon adventure in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a brand-new game from Game Freak that blends action and exploration with the RPG roots of the Pokémon series,” reads the Nintendo trailer’s description.
The upcoming “Pokémon Legends: Arceus” will be available on Nintendo Switch beginning Jan. 28 as both physical and digital copies.
