NewJeans’ K-pop agency ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE Labels, has announced the opening of online auditions for a potential new boy band.
ADOR launched its ”The Real Hype Boys” auditions and will be accepting online applications via ador.world from now until April 14 at 1 p.m. KST.
According to ADOR’s guidelines, boys born between 2004 and 2012 are eligible for the auditions. Applicants can audition as part of a team or individually. For those with no experience in singing or dancing, ADOR states there are no limits on the talents applicants may showcase in their auditions.
Successful online applicants will be contacted individually to attend an in-person audition in South Korea, the U.S., Canada, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia or New Zealand.
The auditions will begin in Seoul on April 15 and end in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on June 21.
NewJeans, who debuted with their EP in August, was created through a global audition process. Notably, members Danielle and Hanni are Korean Australian and Vietnamese Australian, respectively.
