Asian Woman Allegedly Robbed and Beaten in Broad Daylight at ATM in NYC

A woman in New York City ended up at the hospital after getting punched by a man who took the money she had just withdrawn from an ATM.
The incident took place at the Chase Bank in 8 Chatham Square, Chinatown at 11:15 a.m. on June 27.

According to the New York Police Department, the 38-year-old woman was withdrawing cash from the ATM when the suspect, a Black man, approached her and asked her for money.
As soon as the woman got her money, the man allegedly grabbed it as well as her wallet from her hand.

The man allegedly ran out of the bank but the woman managed to chase him.
As things got physical, he allegedly punched her in the face before fleeing the scene.
A video of the aftermath shows the woman explaining what happened to police officers in tears.
She was then taken to New York Downtown Hospital, where she received treatment for minor injuries.
So far, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
