As it turned out, Pikachu’s new look is actually from a recent trailer for “Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!” and “Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!”
In the pair of upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch, players can customize Pikachu and Eevee with different hairstyles including the infamous bangs.
Scheduled to be released worldwide on Nov. 16, the games are reportedly the first installments of the main Pokémon RPG series for the Nintendo Switch.
While the games are enhanced remakes of the 1998 video game Pokémon Yellow, they will also contain some influences from “Pokémon Go.”

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.
