The K-drama horror-thriller “Hellbound” is officially available to stream on Netflix today.
The new world: After the hit show “Squid Game” became Netflix’s most-watched original series, the platform followed up with a new Korean series.
  • The six-episode series depicts the release of unearthly beings who condemn individuals to hell and leaves viewers to decide if those sentences are murder or divine judgment.
  • The final trailer, released on Nov. 7, showcases more action scenes of torture, murder and violence. Human beings can be seen in the widespread chaos of the new world as the unearthly beings, who appear as large beasts, chase down those they believe to be sinners.
  • The trailer’s description reads: “I would like to welcome you all to the new world. All hell breaks loose. Utter chaos ravages the world.”
  • The trailer reveals the rise of religious organization “The New Truth” that is founded on the justification of divine justice. The group’s leader Jung Jin-soo battles the opposition of leaders who wish to save the world and the hellbound.
  • “If it’s not fear, what could make a human repent?” Jung asks. “Do you really think justice can be served through a man-made law?”
  • The final trailer concludes with a scene showing an audience donning white masks seated to watcha member of the hellbound meet their fate.
