Naomi Osaka Posted a Stranger’s Marriage Proposal on Twitter and the Replies are Life

Naomi Osaka had a good laugh this week after receiving a marriage proposal in her DMs. 

On Tuesday, the 21-year-old tennis star tweeted a screenshot of a direct message from a stranger on Instagram, who appears to be on a quest for a wife.

“Do you have a boyfriend, Naomi?” the man asked, leaving his number. “I’m searching for a woman to marry.”

While straightforward men certainly have their charm, the stranger’s next words take the cake:

“You need to hurry up, this offer won’t last long.”

Needless to say, the audacious proposal had Osaka laughing out loud.

While no one knows for sure if this is the work of a troll, his courageous offer and Osaka’s response drew hilarious comments from Twitter users.

Some speculated that the brave Romeo must be a “Nigerian prince.”

The rest thought Osaka should probably just hurry up.
