Indonesia’s Miss International 2017 candidate Kevin Liliana didn’t just win the event’s Miss Best Dresser award, she also took home the event’s crowning glory.
Liliana went up against 68 other candidates in the prestigious beauty pageant that was held in Tokyo, Japan on Nov. 14.
The 21-year-old beauty queen was crowned by Philippines’ Miss International 2016 winner Kylie Verzosa. Other candidates also had their chance to shine as Japan’s Natsuki Tsutsui won Miss National Costume, while Australia’s Amber Dew won Miss Perfect Body, according to AsiaOne.

As for the Miss International 2017 winner, Liliana has quite an interesting background, and she was also the first-runner up of Miss Indonesia 2017.
According to Rappler, Liliana was very boyish when she was younger, and her mother eventually took her to a modeling class when she was still in fourth grade.
The Indonesian beauty queen then got her first modeling gig by the time she reached college. However, modeling isn’t the only thing Liliana’s focused on as she’s also an interior design student at the Universitas Kristen Maranatha (Maranatha Christian University), a private university in Bandung, West Java.
Kevin’s name was actually inspired by the film “Home Alone” since her mom loved the movie’s main protagonist Kevin McCallister.
Despite growing up with a self-described boyish attitude, Liliana still took home the crown that symbolizes grace and femininity.
